Czech extreme metal festival reveals day-by-day Breakdown for August 5-8 event at Josefov Fortress
Czech Republic’s premier extreme metal festival Brutal Assault has just announced their daily lineup breakdown for its 2026 edition, taking place August 5-8 at Josefov Fortress in Jaroměr. Alongside the announcement, the festival has launched sales for limited one-day tickets, with only 400 available for each day.
The festival made the announcement on April 30, stating:
“We’re bringing you the daily lineup breakdown! Alongside this, we are launching the sale of one-day tickets for those of you who can’t imagine summer without Brutal Assault, but for various reasons can’t make it for the entire festival. Note: Only 400 one-day tickets are available for each day, and no more will be added.”

The lineup showcases extreme metal’s full spectrum, from death metal legends to black metal icons, progressive metal innovators, and industrial crossover acts. Notable performances include ‘Body Count‘ featuring Ice T, ‘Waltari‘ performing a Death Metal Symphony with Symphonic Orchestra, ‘Mispyrming‘ playing ‘Behemoth‘, and ‘The Laws‘ performing Sarcófago material.
The 2026 edition also brings in several high-profile names that underline the festival’s global appeal. Bands like, Cradle of Filth, Katatonia, Candlemass, Municipal Waste, and Perturbator represent some of the most recognizable names on the bill, ensuring that alongside underground favorites, fans will also get to experience performances from some of the biggest and most influential acts in heavy music.
Brutal Assault takes place at the historic Josefov Fortress in Jaroměr, Czech Republic, from August 5-8, 2026. With only 400 one-day tickets available per day and no additional allocation planned, fans interested in attending specific days are encouraged to secure tickets quickly.
