Trutnov Battlefield, Czech Republic – July 2, 2026
If day one set the bar high, day two at Obscene Extreme Festival 2026 proved there are no limits when it comes to extremity. From the earliest morning blasts to the chaotic late-night madness, Thursday delivered an even more relentless assault, pushing both bands and fans deeper into the festival’s uncompromising spirit. The crowd that returned for the second day came ready, and the lineup made sure they never had a moment to breathe.
‘Fosse Septique’ opened the day with a short but sharp set that wasted no time shaking off the morning haze. Raw grind energy delivered with purpose, the Danish band immediately reminded everyone where they were and what the next twelve hours had in store.
‘Phrenetix‘ followed with a tight and aggressive performance that built momentum quickly and efficiently, pulling more bodies into the pit with every passing minute. The Lithuanians left no room for hesitation, establishing the day’s pace with a precision that belied how early it still was.
‘Sulfuric Cautery‘ escalated the brutality significantly, delivering a ferocious wall of sound that combined surgical precision with unrelenting speed. The Americas hit hard and fast, raising the temperature both literally and figuratively and making it clear that day two intended to be even more punishing than the first.
‘Tension‘ maintained the momentum with a compact but explosive set that kept the early chaos alive and refused to let the crowd settle. Short, sharp, and effective, they understood their role in the day’s architecture perfectly and executed it without hesitation.
‘Morgue Breath‘ leaned into a darker and heavier approach, bringing a suffocating atmosphere that contrasted effectively with the faster acts that had preceded them. They slowed things down just enough to let the weight of the sound fully land before the next wave of chaos arrived.
‘Retorsion‘ injected crossover energy into the afternoon, delivering punchy riffs and a performance that kept heads banging without pause. The Hungarians brought a different kind of urgency to the stage, one rooted in groove and aggression working in perfect tandem.

‘Embrace Your Punishment‘ brought sheer heaviness that hit the crowd like a wall, combining groove and aggression in a way that resonated deeply with the audience. This band commanded attention from the first note and maintained it throughout, delivering one of the more physically demanding sets of the afternoon.

‘TFB‘ kept things deliberately unpredictable, offering a chaotic performance that blurred genre lines while sustaining constant forward momentum. The Germans thrived in the controlled disorder of Obscene Extreme, and the crowd responded to their refusal to be easily categorized with genuine enthusiasm.
‘Godless‘ delivered a solid and commanding set that balanced brutality with tight musicianship and a strong stage presence that stood out in a day already packed with intense performances. India demonstrated that extreme metal’s underground reach extends far beyond what many might expect, and the crowd gave them the reception they deserved.
One of the genuine standout moments of the entire day came with ‘Cút Lộn‘, whose unique style and energy brought a completely fresh dynamic to the stage and captured the audience’s full attention in a way that few acts managed. The Vietnamese band brought something genuinely different to Trutnov Battlefield, and in a festival that celebrates the unconventional above all else, that distinctiveness felt like exactly the right fit.

‘Repulsive Feast‘ returned proceedings to pure gore-soaked extremity, delivering relentless blasts and filthy riffs that defined the mid-afternoon with brutal clarity. Repulsive Feast knew their audience and gave them everything they came for, with the kind of no-compromise approach that Obscene Extreme was built to celebrate.
‘The Atrocity Exhibit‘ pushed the chaos further still, with a set that felt simultaneously violent and calculated in equal measure. They brought a controlled ferocity to the stage that distinguished them from the surrounding acts, offering extremity with genuine intent behind every moment.
‘Decrepid‘ followed with crushing heaviness that was thick and oppressive in the best possible way, drawing a strong and immediate reaction from a crowd that had been building in intensity all day. This was exactly the kind of suffocating performance that the late afternoon demanded.

‘Malignant Tumour‘ shifted the vibe with their distinctive rock and roll-infused extreme metal, bringing groove and attitude to an already explosive day and reminding the crowd that extremity can swagger as well as pummel. The Czech hometown received a particularly warm reception, and they rewarded it with one of the most entertaining sets of the evening.

‘Centinex‘ delivered what can only be described as a masterclass in old-school death metal, combining precision and power in a performance that stood as one of the most technically accomplished and emotionally satisfying of the entire day. This veterans proved that longevity in this scene is earned rather than given.

‘Final Conflict‘ unleashed hardcore fury that ignited intense circle pits and kept the energy at a boiling point throughout their set bringing a classic aggression that connected the festival’s punk roots with its death metal heart in a way that felt entirely natural and completely necessary.

‘Season of the Dead – Killjoy Lives‘ stood out as a special set dedicated to the Necrophagia era, bringing Killjoy’s legacy back to the stage through a horror-driven, all-star lineup. Blending raw death metal, the performance felt less like a tribute and more like a resurrection, drawing a strong and emotional response from the crowd.

‘Insanity Alert‘ turned the festival into a full-on party, their crossover thrash energy injecting fun, chaos, and nonstop movement into a crowd that had been through hours of punishment but showed no signs of fatigue. The Austrias understood the assignment perfectly, and the result was one of the most joyful and anarchic moments of the entire festival so far.
‘Necrot‘ brought the evening back to focused devastation, delivering a crushing and controlled set that proved once again why they are one of the strongest and most respected names in modern death metal, carrying genuine authority on that stage, and the crowd felt every bit of it.

‘Pro-Pain‘ brought decades of experience and raw power to the Trutnov Battlefield, delivering a heavy and commanding performance that hit with the kind of undeniable force that only comes from a band that has been doing this for a very long time and still means every single note.
‘Nunslaughter‘ pushed things into pure blasphemous chaos with a savage and uncompromising set that fit the Obscene Extreme ethos as naturally as anything on the entire bill. Bubslaugther delivered exactly what their name promises, and the crowd embraced every filthy second of it.

Late into the night, ‘Fredag den 13:e‘ kept the energy ferociously alive with a raw and intense performance that refused to let anyone slow down regardless of the hour. The Swedish act demonstrated that commitment to extremity doesn’t diminish as the night stretches on, it intensifies.
Closing out the second day, ‘Dummy Toys‘ delivered a wild and energetic final set that ended the night on a high note and proved that even at the final hours of a relentless marathon, Obscene Extreme never loses its edge. The Chinese act brought genuine fire to the closing slot, sending everyone off into the night with ringing ears and a hunger for more.
Day two confirmed it: this festival doesn’t just maintain intensity, it amplifies it. With each passing hour, Obscene Extreme becomes more chaotic, more alive, and more unforgettable. And with more days still ahead, the madness is far from over.
