Due to overwhelming demand, Slayer have added a second Los Angeles date for the 40th anniversary of Reign In Blood at the Kia Forum. After the November 13, 2026 show sold out instantly, a second performance on November 14 was announced. These mark the band’s first hometown headline shows in seven years and the only West Coast dates where the album will be performed in full.
The reunited lineup of Tom Araya, Kerry King, Gary Holt, and Paul Bostaph continues its return with this special residency. The November 13 show will feature Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera, and Crowbar, with equally strong support expected for night two. Tickets went on public sale April 24, following a presale on April 23.
These concerts are part of a limited U.S. run where Reign In Blood will be played in full. Aside from Los Angeles, the only other confirmed full-album performance is September 4 in Shakopee, Minnesota at Mystic Lake Amphitheater, with support from Down, Suicidal Tendencies, and Hatebreed. Festival appearances in 2026 will feature mixed setlists, making these headline shows the only way to hear the album in its entirety.

Released October 7, 1986 via Def Jam Recordings and produced by Rick Rubin, Reign In Blood remains one of the most influential albums in heavy music. Despite early controversy and distribution challenges, it became Slayer’s first Billboard 200 entry and earned Gold certification.
At just under 29 minutes, the album redefined speed, aggression, and precision in metal. Tracks like “Angel of Death,” “Raining Blood,” and “Postmortem” became classics, while Rubin’s production brought new clarity and power to the genre. Its impact is still felt across extreme metal today.
The Shakopee show features Down, Suicidal Tendencies, and Hatebreed, offering a full night of heavy music. In Los Angeles, Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera, and Crowbar will open, making the November 13 show especially significant as Slayer’s first LA performance in seven years.
The exclusivity, only a few headline dates, makes these performances rare and highly anticipated. The curated support lineups add further weight, while the Los Angeles return carries emotional significance for the band’s hometown fans.
Forty years after its release, Reign In Blood remains a landmark album. These shows offer a rare chance to experience it live, in full.
September 4. November 13. November 14.
One album. Three dates. Don’t miss it.
