‘Ignescent’ Unleash “Chariot Of Fire” Featuring ‘Sevendust’s Clint Lowery

Chicago rockers ‘Ignescent‘ have dropped their latest single “Chariot Of Fire”, featuring ‘Sevendust‘ guitarist and backing vocalist Clint Lowery. The track appears on the band’s upcoming album Eternal, set for release March 20, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl.

The collaboration came together at a meaningful moment for Lowery. “At the time I was asked to collaborate with ‘Ignescent’, I was truly building my relationship with Christ, in the beginning stages, the timing was perfect,” he explains. “Jennifer sent a melody she had and I built on that, a true offering to God in most humbling way.”

Frontwoman Jennifer Benson describes the song’s core message with clarity: “The song is about God rushing in to rescue us when we’re surrounded and out of strength – a reminder that He never abandons us. He comes for us.”

‘Ignescent’ has steadily built a reputation beyond Chicago’s city limits. Their single “Remnant” hit #46 on the Billboard Rock Charts, while “Calling Out To You” – co-written with former ‘Skillet’ guitarist Ben Kasica – cracked the Billboard Rock Top 30. Since 2018, they’ve toured the Midwest, Nashville, and Europe following their Frontiers Records release Fight In Me.

Eternal promises a collection of modern metal anthems drawing from influences like ‘Flyleaf’, ‘Evanescence’, ‘Jinjer’, and ‘Skillet’. The album features “Fearless”, co-written with Sameer Bhattacharya of ‘Flyleaf’, alongside nine other tracks produced by Jeremy Valentine (‘New Years Day’) and Brandon Wolfe.

The band describes their authenticity simply: they write from real struggles with anxiety and depression, offering hope and resilience through compelling guitar work, powerful rhythms, and relatable themes. “We’re beyond excited to announce our brand-new album Eternal, dropping March 2026,” the band states. “This one’s a battle cry – for faith, for hope, for forever. What’s eternal cannot be shaken.”
