‘Nervosa’ Unleash Slave Machine: New Album Drops April 3 with Crushing Title Track

Brazilian thrash metal powerhouses ‘Nervosa‘ have announced their sixth studio album, Slave Machine, arriving April 3, 2026 via Napalm Records. The announcement comes alongside the album’s crushing title track, a fierce statement that shows the five-piece exploring new territory while keeping their thrash roots firmly planted.

“This song is everything that we want to say and play, many different vocal layers and guitar melodies like a scream to say that we are all part of the ‘Slave Machine’,”

The band explains. The track instantly turns up the speed, showcasing a catchy alternative bridge that reveals a slightly different side of the metal heroines.

Having conquered stages at Wacken, Hellfest, and the biggest metal festivals worldwide, ‘Nervosa’ continues to cement their position as genre frontrunners. With founding guitarist Prika Amaral now established as vocalist following their 2023 release Jailbreak, the band tears through the scene with renewed force. Once again working with producer Martin Furia of German legends ‘Destruction’, they bridge old-school power with critical modernity.

Slave Machine delivers twelve fiery songs that showcase ‘Nervosa’ at their most brutal and melodic. Opening track “Impending Doom” builds menacingly with thunderous riffs and jagged drums. “Ghost Notes” unleashes a storm of heavy, recognizable riffs driven by Amaral’s furious vocals and crowned by an astounding guitar solo. “Beast Of Burden” reveals the band’s harshest side, while “You Are Not A Hero” offers a grand chorus that serves as a true anthem. Through “30 Seconds”, “Crawling For Your Pride”, and the threateningly sinister closer “Speak In Fire”, the band combines their trademark social criticism with gut-punching songwriting.

“Slave Machine is the most brutal and melodic album of ‘Nervosa’, and we are proud to take this step further, keeping our roots,”

the band states.
